Irina Shayk is Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Girl

It’s not often we’re given to using other magazine’s stuff on babemag.com and as a rule we don’t really do it. Normally our pictures have our dirty, great, big, red logo splattered over them like an open wound… but one you like, not a like a painful gaping one, but perhaps a friendly, nice, benevolent wound.

But certain occasions permit us to stretch and bend the rules and the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition is one such occasion.

Sports Illustrated is like the Bible for sports nuts and has been the bedrock of American sports reporting for sixty years, but once a year they loosen their baseball boots with the Swimsuit edition.

The tie-in is wafer-thin, but who gives a Hasselhof’s testicle because year-on-year they manage to out trump themselves. They always have the cream of the best models in the world and always seem to spend a billion dollars sending a ridiculously large team to more exotic and remote locations.

This year’s shoot features the genetically ‘spermed’ DNA love child of Cindy Crawford, Megan Fox and Robert Pattinson and was shot on Mars by a team of stylists and make-up artists who spent 20 years being trained by NASA for the mission…

We exaggerate a tad, well a lot, but you can see where they’re headed.

Actually this is Irina Shayk and she’s this year’s super scorching hot cover girl of the issue. Yes, amazing isn’t she! Irina Shayk is also the girlfriend of acne-potted lothario Cristiano Ronaldo.

Yes, the Cristiano Ronaldo who plays football for Real Madrid and wears under pants for Giorgio Armani’s entertainment.
